FAQ

Questions we get asked

Including the ones with an awkward answer. If your question isn't here, ask us on the call.

Who is NotifyHub HMS for?

Hospitals, diagnostic and imaging centres, and clinics and polyclinics — healthcare organizations that have outgrown disconnected systems. It is focused healthcare operations software rather than an enterprise hospital ERP, and that is a deliberate choice.

Is it suitable for a diagnostic or imaging centre?

For the operational spine of the centre, yes: registration, a queue keyed to a machine or a room rather than only a doctor, itemised billing and sequential cash receipts are available now. The reporting workflow — a service catalogue, a reports inbox, upload against the right visit and delivery — is planned. It is not a laboratory information system.

Is it suitable for a hospital?

Yes, for outpatient and ambulatory operations — several consulting doctors in parallel, a pharmacy counter, a separate cashier, and a workspace for each role. Inpatient wards, operation theatre, nursing and insurance or TPA claims are planned as later expansion, not as what a demonstration will show.

Can different staff have different access?

Yes. Owner, receptionist, cashier, doctor and pharmacist each have their own account. Each person lands in a workspace built around their job — that is where they start and what they see. What they are actually allowed to do is governed separately, on the server. A cashier can take a payment without altering a consultation; a consulting doctor is never asked to navigate your finances.

Do doctors get their own workspace?

Yes. A consulting doctor signs in and lands on their own queue for the day, sees patients they have been assigned, starts and completes consultations from there, records notes on the visit, and writes the prescription the pharmacy counter then works from.

Can I manage patients and appointments?

Yes. A patient is registered once and found by search on every subsequent visit. Your staff can take walk-ins or book appointments, and both enter the same live queue with a token number.

Can appointments be booked online by patients?

No. Online booking is planned rather than committed to a date: how it should work is still being settled internally, and the capability is switched off in the product until it is. Today every appointment is booked by your staff.

Does it handle billing?

Yes. You can raise an itemised bill, and every bill gets a sequential number with no gaps. A bill is added to rather than rewritten, so what was charged stays on the record along with who charged it.

Which payment methods can I record?

Cash, recorded against the bill by a named user with a numbered receipt. UPI, bank transfer and cheque are coming soon. Online payments through a payment provider are planned. We do not take a cut of your payments.

Can I print bills and receipts?

Printable bills and receipts are coming soon. The bill and receipt numbers exist today; putting them on paper your patient can carry is the next piece of work.

Will my patients get WhatsApp updates?

Not yet from the HMS. NotifyHub already runs WhatsApp messaging for schools, restaurants and businesses on the same platform, so connecting it to the clinical workflow is coming soon rather than a new product — but we will not claim it works until it does.

Does it include staff or HR?

Staff already sign in with their own accounts and land in the workspace their job needs. Employees, departments and designations sit on the shared NotifyHub platform and are planned for healthcare organisations to use. Payroll, leave, attendance and recruitment are not part of this product.

Is it a LIMS, EMR or complete hospital ERP?

No. NotifyHub HMS is healthcare operations software: patients, visits, queue, consultation, prescription, pharmacy dispensing and billing. Diagnostic reporting is planned as an attachment-and-delivery workflow on the visit, not as a laboratory information system. It is not an EMR, and inpatient, theatre, nursing and insurance are later expansion.

Can I use it on more than one device?

Yes. It is cloud-based, so there is nothing to install on site and any device with a browser works on the same live data. Multiple staff work simultaneously on the same day's patients.

Can I move over from Excel or my current HMS?

There is no automatic importer for a full history, and we would rather say so than promise a migration that goes wrong. In practice most organizations start from a chosen date and keep the previous system readable for historical reference. We will look at your data on the call and tell you what is realistic.

What does it cost?

We are settling pricing alongside our first customers, so we would rather quote you properly than publish a figure we then have to revise. Ask on the call and you will get a straight answer for the size of your organization.

How do I request a demo?

Complete the demo form with your name, your organization and a phone number, and we will call within one working day to arrange a time. You can also call or message us directly.

See it against your own operation

A twenty-minute walkthrough on a call. We will show you precisely what is built today and what is not, against the way your organization actually runs.
